You will be introduced to Dr. Bokas or Dr. Moseling who will carry out an examination and thoroughly explain, to both you and your child, the treatment options that are available - at (B) we always ensure that little people feel important too!
Your second appointment will involve taking impressions of teeth to construct plaster models, taking photographs of the teeth and face, and arranging x-rays of the teeth and jaws. These records will be used to accurately analyse your face, and to plan your treatment.
During the third appointment, Dr. Bokas or Dr. Moseling will discuss the suggested ideal treatment plan and any alternative options. To allow the family to quickly and easily understand the proposed treatment, we use the patient photographs taken previously as well as computer-aided visualisation software to demonstrate the proposed treatment and the gradual effect it will have.
Your entire treatment will generally be managed by one orthodontist - either Dr. Bokas or Dr. Moseling - as requested by you or your family dentist. If it is too early to start your child’s treatment, we will arrange periodic reviews at no cost until the right time comes to commence treatment.
